Is your result listed?

Are you the author of a result DiscoverIA tracks? Here is what each status requires, how to get your entry corrected and how to reply to it.

Write with the formThe “right of reply” type is already selected; change it for a correction.

The path to each status

You do not change the status of your result yourself: DiscoverIA changes it when a public source justifies it. Send that source.

Not evaluated

What it requires The starting status: a dated public announcement, with no third-party evaluation.

What to provide The source of the announcement: paper, preprint, repository or post.

Under review

What it requires A third party has opened a public review: refereeing under way, public discussion of the substance, or an announced formalisation.

What to provide The link to the page where the review takes place.

Peer reviewed

What it requires Publication in a peer-reviewed journal, or a review by named experts independent of you. A preprint alone is not enough.

What to provide The journal or review page, with the reviewers' names.

Formally verified

What it requires A named, independent third party has checked a machine proof (Lean, Coq, Isabelle…). Lean supplied by you alone is not enough.

What to provide The public page where that third party shows its check.

Contested

What it requires A sourced public objection, about the substance, that has not been refuted.

What to provide To leave it: the source that lifts the objection. Your reply can also appear on the entry.

Withdrawn

What it requires A withdrawal by the author, or an “incorrect” verdict from a reference source. Never DiscoverIA's opinion alone.

What to provide To leave it: the source that cancels the withdrawal.

A third party is not an author or co-author of the result, not a member of your organisation, and not funded by you for this work. The named third-party rule

Correcting an entry

A source is missing, a quotation is wrong, a status lags behind a recent source: propose the correction with a public source. DiscoverIA decides on that source. The correction is added to the entry's history with its cause; nothing is erased, except personal data.

Your name appears on an entry? You can ask for it to be corrected or removed.

Your right of reply

You can reply at any time on the entry for your result. Your reply appears there, signed and dated, with the link you give. It stays on display and does not change the status on its own.

After your message

Leave an address if you want an answer: without one, DiscoverIA cannot reply to you. Depending on the case, a correction is added to the history or your reply appears on the entry.
